We live in a dense urban environment, home to over eight million people. As a counterbalance, we often seek out the wide-open, solitary spaces found in dunes. We can photograph for an entire day and not see another soul. No matter if we do, the wind will wipe clean any evidence of their presence. Diane began “Drift” in 2007, which is now a joint project.

We live in a dense urban environment, home to eight million people – as a counterbalance we often seek out the wide-open, solitary spaces found in dunes. We can photograph for an entire day – and hardly ever see another soul. No matter if we do – the wind will wipe clean any evidence of their presence.
Diane began this project in 2007, now ongoing by both of us, as we continue to explore the poetry in the ever sifting sands. Photogaphs by Diane Cook & Len Jenshel
